Kathryn Carter

Dr. Kathryn Carter – Inter-Faculty Associate Dean: Academic Coordination and Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies, Associate Dean of Graduate Studies, Wilfrid Laurier University, Brantford Campus

Screen Shot 2015-06-02 at 11.10.26 AMDr. Carter has been a faculty member at the Brantford campus since 2000 and teaches a variety of courses in English such as children’s literature, women’s literature, early Canadian literature, and advanced courses on autobiography and life writing.  She has also held a number of administrative positions on the campus including one year as the acting Dean of the campus (2008-2009). She feels especially committed to developing initiatives related to the arts, and to that end had an active role in establishing The Yellow Brick Wall, an exhibition space on campus for fine art.  She has also been very actively involved with the development of the Bachelor of Fine and Applied Arts in Game Design and Development.
