Evelin was born and raised in Budapest, Hungary. She is a sophomore majoring in Environmental Policy at Middlebury College. She has an extensive international experience working at organizations that aim to improve social and environmental issues. Therefore, she gained an insight on how different social entrepreneurs approach the community they intend to serve. Indeed, it is a really delicate matter to understand what a community’s needs are and what the best ways are to address them. Through the Ambassador Corps internship program she would like to learn about the most effective and meaningful tools in achieving sustainable development. What are the best ways to identify a community’s needs? How can the institutions and people involved in international development, work with the community without bringing in a development model that may not be suitable for the local needs? These are some of the questions she would like explore through the program.
